COVID 19
Until the government regulations change all UCSA courses are being taught on line with a full range of scheduled classes.
UCSA looks forwards to better times when we can return to the classroom. Teaching until recently has been taking place in outstanding covid secure teaching rooms located either at the Fielder Centre (University of Hertfordshire) or Welwyn Garden City campus (Oaklands College). This classroom teaching has been blended with online support.
Further advice for students can be found here.
UCSA is open to applications and we offer a virtual open evening each month, details can be found on the website.
If you are interested in studying part time do get in touch and we can arrange a telephone call or an on line conversation to explore options.

UCSA offers you high quality learning at an affordable price. You may also be eligible to access the part time tuition fee loan for Higher Education that makes studying for a part time degree far more affordable than you may realise.
Central to the values of UCSA is the creation of a strong partnership between students and staff to learn together. We are committed to producing graduates with the knowledge, skills and attributes to make a real difference in a complex and rapidly changing world.
UCSA is designed to allow students to study in a way to suit their lives, giving them more flexibility and choice. The degrees have been created in a way that makes them affordable with exceptional quality. They are perfect for those who cannot commit to full-time study or feel they missed out early in life.

Quintin McKellar
Vice-Chancellor at the University of Hertfordshire
We have worked hard with employers and the wider community to get UCSA to this stage. As we grow, the focus will remain on the development of skills that employers want, so that when students finish studying and gain their qualifications, they will become a rich asset to any organisation.

Zoe Hancock
Principal of Oaklands College
UCSA is all about flexible learning. We have introduced a range of courses that are shaped around students’ lives to meet both the needs of people in work and those leaving school this summer. We offer small study groups and innovative courses without the worry of high fees and the cost of living away from home.
